Haruki Murakami's new novel "1Q84" out in early summer
Shinchoush has announced that they are releasing now novel by Haruki Murakami, titled "1Q84" early summer of 2009. People are talking that this will be much longer than The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. The title is probably referencing George Orwell's "1984" Also since Murakami has been mentioning his ambition to write novel like "Brothers of Karamazof" which constructed with several stories, the new book may have adopted that style.

By the way, I have heard the movie production of "Norwegian Wood" (based on another Haruki Murakami's novel) several months ago but hadn't heard any follow up information. Does anyone know?
